In the abstract on page 77, the major menaquinone for strain mano11T is given incorrectly as MK-7. The correct major menaquinone should be Q-8, as stated in the description of Marinobacterium halophilum sp. nov. on page 79. In Table 1, on page 79, utilization of glucose for strain mano11T is incorrectly given as negative. Utilization of glucose by this strain is positive as mentioned in the text and in the description of the novel species.
