Due to a calculation error, incorrect values of the DNA mol% G+C content were reported for type and other strains of some recently described species. The correct mol% G+C values (±SD, n=number of observations) are:
Desulfonatronum thiodismutans MLF1T, 59.0±0.1 mol% (n=6; Pikuta et al., 2003b
);
Roseovarius nubinhibens ISMT, 62.2±0.2 mol% (n=4; González et al., 2003
);
Silicibacter pomeroyi DSS-3T, 64.1±0.1 mol% (n=3; González et al., 2003
), and Silicibacter pomeroyi DSS-10, 64.3±0.1 mol% (n=6; González et al., 2003
);
Spirochaeta americana ASpG1T, 54.2±0.2 mol% (n=4; Hoover et al., 2003
);
Thermosediminibacter oceani JW/IW-1228PT, 46.3±0.7 mol% (n=4; Lee et al., 2005
);
Thermosediminibacter litoriperuensis JW/YJL-1230-7/2T, 45.2±0.7 mol% (n=6; Lee et al., 2005
);
Tindallia californiensis APOT, 40.2±0.1 mol% (n=3; Pikuta et al., 2003a
).
