The GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ accession number for the 16S rRNA gene sequence of the type strain of Geobacter psychrophilus, P35T (=ATCC BAA-1013T =DSM 16674T =JCM 12644T), is AY653549, not AY653548 as given in the paper. GenBank accession number AY653548 represents the 16S rRNA gene sequence of G. psychrophilus P39, as indicated on GenBank (K. P. Nevin and E. S. Shelobolina, personal communication).
