On pages 2379, 2381 and 2382, the peptidoglycan type is incorrect. It should be A4α, L-Lys (L-Orn)-D-Asp. The purified peptidoglycan of IDR2-2T contained D-Asp, L-Orn + L-Lys, L-Glu and L-Ala at a molar ratio of 0.4:1.1:1:1.6.
On page 2382, the statement that IDR2-2T does not hydrolyse starch is incorrect. IDR2-2T does hydrolyse starch.
