In the footnote on p. 2223 and also in the tree presented in Fig. 2 on p. 2226, the GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ accession numbers for the 16S rRNA gene sequences of Curvibacter gracilis 7-1T and Herbaspirillim putei 7-2T are transposed. The correct accession numbers for the 16S rRNA gene sequences of these two strains are AB109889 for Curvibacter gracilis 7-1T and AB109890 for Herbaspirillim putei 7-2T.
