Validation of publication of new names and new combinations previously effectively published outside the IJSEM - List no. 99

International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology vol. 54, part 5, pp. 1425 - 1426

Thermococcus atlanticus (type strain MA898 = CIP 107420 = DSM 15226) appears in Validation List 99. However, the type strain CIP 107420 was never available and this name must be deleted from Validation List 99. As a consequence, Thermococcus atlanticus is not validly published.
