On page 263, the printed and PDF versions of this paper give an incorrect value in the sentence at the top of the second column, which reads 'The range of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity within the Vibrio genus for V. hispanicus LMG 13240T was 89.1–96.8 %'. This value should read 22–88 %, as in the full-text version in IJSEM Online.
