Due to an error introduced during copy-editing, throughout the paper it is implied that the position of the double bond in unsaturated fatty acids is located by counting from the methyl (
) end of the carbon chain. However, the positions of double bonds given were in fact counted from the carboxyl end of the fatty acid. Hence, 14:1
